PRESSURE SWELL TESTS
pressure swell tests, tapeziod and sine
Pressure swell tests are performed on many parts, e.g. automotive components such as coolant hoses, fuel lines, turbo-charge air components, as durability tests. Many test media such as
ethylene glycol-water mixtures, oils, fuels, AdBlue, air
are used, with additional temperature specifications from the specifications (medium and ambient temperature) of -40°C to 135°C (coolant) or 200°C (air) superimposed.
static testing
as long-term tests, approval tests, aging, flow-through.
At media temperatures in the range of -40°C to +300°C (depending on the phys. limits of the media), at ambient temperatures from -40°C to 300°C.
Pressure range from 0 to 25 MPa
static longterm test with surge tanks in chamber dynamic tests
For media temperatures in the range of -40°C to +180°C (depending on the physical limits of the media), for ambient temperatures from -40°C to 210°C.
The pressure range is from 0 to 25 MPa, pulse shape sine or trapezoidal are available and test frequencies for sine up to 10 Hz, or freely presettable rise/fall/dwell times for trapezoidal, also as quasi-static pressure curves.
The tests can be superimposed with motion (linear or in 3-dimensional direction) or high-frequency excitation.

FUNCTIONAL AND ENDURANCE TESTING
Temperature chamber, test benches and extensive equipment for long-term tests under temperature, and/or pressure as well as flow is available.
Cooling water (glycol/water), oils and fuels are used as media.
In case of explosive media or conditions, temperature chambers with indirect heating (own constructions) are used.
Testing surge tanks (automotive)
In this case, glycol/water mixture flows through the surge tanks. At the same time, a static pressure is maintained according to the specifications of the specification sheet or the customer, and the medium and the environment are heated.
Coolant pump endurance run
10 cooling water pumps together on the test bench, 1000h according to VW spec.
shortened test cooling water
Objective: To check the tightness and function of the component with increased load in a shortened period of time.
shortened test cooling water hoses shortened test 500h under pressure, temperature and media flow Long-term tests

THERMAL SHOCK TESTS
thermal shock test
As an example, a thermal shock test of EGR valves. Hot (125°C) and cold (-20°C) alternately flow through the 8 test specimens in 2 groups of 4 samples. The ambient temperature can be adjusted/controlled by setting up in a temperature chamber.

APPROVAL TESTS
Impulse pressure test stand (in-house development by ID)
Due to the selected structure, the two oil distribution columns can be positioned almost anywhere, which enables them to be adapted to a wide variety of test object geometries. Ultimately, the spatial limits depend on the test chamber. The arrangement is currently housed in a chamber with the dimensions (1m 1m 1m).

ENVIRONMENTAL SIMULATION
Vibration, climate, temperature Using a variable clamping device, original vehicle cables can also be checked in the respective installation position.
All vibration tests can be carried out under climatic conditions. There are several climate and temperature chambers available up to a size of 2m x 1m x 1m.
